After using the the RSA Franklin rooms for his father’s (Jim Brocas) passing, celebration of life function early this month, Pukekohe Honda’s Kerry Brocas decided to make a donation in appreciation for the professional atmosphere that was provided. The RSA Franklin have received a Platinum 50″ Full HD LED Television from the good people at Pukekohe Honda Cars with the help of Noel Lemmings Pukekohe on Poppy Day.

With ANZAC Day coming up this Tuesday, the big screen TV will be a focus point with the RSA Franklin having a power point display featuring profiles on Victoria Cross recipients, profiles on the executive staff of the RSA Franklin and other ANZAC related articles.

With the staff of the RSA Franklin being volunteers and the generosity of local businesses and local people signing up for membership (already 240 since October last year) the RSA Franklin is climbing in popularity. Saying that we challenge local businesses to get involved by encouraging staff to be come members and also find a way to help sponsor the RSA Franklin.

Memberships for non-service person are $50 per year (less than a $1 a week) and $40 for service people and women’s section and $20 for those over 80 years old. You can contact them via their Facebook page , email rsapukekohe@vodafone.co.nz.
