A hectic few weeks for Miss Universe NZ but Tania is still smiling.

It has been a busy time since she won the coveted title of Miss Universe New Zealand but Tania Dawson is still just as excited as when she was crowned at Auckland’s Sky City three weeks ago.

Tania told Franklin Life last night that she went back to work  the same week as winning Miss Universe New Zealand and shared her success with her happy students – Tania is a drama/acting teacher at the Southern Cross Campus in Mangere.

She has been doing interviews and TV appearances and during last weekend Tania attended both the Miss India New Zealand Contest and a Filipino cultural event called ‘Penafrancia’.

She was also flown to Christchurch where she was a guest on the Adam and Eve TV Show.

With the school holidays looming, Tania is looking forward to a break in her busy schedule.

“I’m going on a road trip with my new Honda Jazz RS Sport,” she said with a smile.
