Jason & Alofa of Lone Star Pukekohe and the good people from the Franklin Family Support are having the 2nd annual Christmas Charity lunch for the less fortunate at the Lone Star Pukekohe restaurant on Sunday 25th of December.

Franklin Family Support (they send the invites out to the families who are struggling) have stated that there were almost as many kids as there were adults this year.

Alofa says, “We have all our suppliers and some local Pukekohe people donating food, we have the staff, family and a number of volunteers now, but we are very short on kids presents”.

Franklin Life is appealing to those warm-hearted locals who care for our community and their kids to donate presents for this great, worthy cause.

I took a look at a locally owned Kids toy store in Pukekohe called Love To Learn Toy Shop at 36 Edinburgh Street, Pukekohe.  Owner Shelley said they have a lot of great toys suitable for all ages and starting from only $1. For any ideas ask staff for advice. Below are some pictures of toys.

So dig deep and help out with some presents for the charity lunch. Presents can be dropped off at Lone Star Pukekohe which is open from 3pm weekdays and 11:30am on weekends. Franklin Family Support are open 9am – 4pm weekdays.
