On Saturday morning was a ‘Keep our current flag’ march up the main street of Pukekohe.

Organized by the Franklin RSA and assembling at the Pukekohe town square army veterans, family and friends were greeted by claps and cheers by the townsfolk when 100-odd people marched to the Franklin RSA behind the War Memorial Hall. Speeches were held and visitors were welcomed in for a chat and a bite to eat. Flags flew everywhere  and many people felt proud waving flags.
