The day started with the sun showing up and shined it’s rays over Samuel Miller Reserve, Pukekohe and the 100’s of kids and parents that had turned up for the international day for children.

Organized by the Franklin Youth Advisory Board, Auckland Council,
BlueLiners Entertainment, St Johns Ambulance and Fire Brigade and also supported by local child services the day was filled with a massive slip & slide, water balloon fights, lolly scramble, face painting, flying fox, tube slides and much more. Musical entertainment was provided by the impressively talented Allanah James.
