100’s of steam train enthusiasts turned up to bid farewell to the locomotive steam train “Diana’ Ja 1250 after 18 years of faithful service to the Glenbrook Vintage Railway. There was also a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new train turn table.

Built in 1949, ‘Diana’ weighs 110 tons, produces 1200 hp, carries 6 ton of coal and 4000 gallons (15141 litres) of water. She will be put into restoration for the next 5 years and we all hope to see her back at GVR.
