The day started off pretty overcast but by lunchtime the sun showed up and shined it’s rays over Samuel Miller Reserve, Pukekohe and the 100’s of kids and parents that had turned up for the international day for children.

Organized by the Franklin Youth Advisory Board, Auckland Council, local Police Blue Light & Fire Brigade and supported by local child services the day was filled with a massive slip & slide, lolly scramble, face painting, flying fox, tube slides and much more. Musical entertainment was provided by the super talented Natasha Michelle of Tash Music.

The 2018 event will be on Sunday 4th of March.
