Wednesday 6th of December, Pukekohe North School had a celebration day for their top students.
Throughout the year a points system was set up where the students would assemble points by tasks achieved and the results were outstanding with most of the kids exceeded targets and for that, they were rewarded visits from the Counties Manukau Police who supplied a hot bbq lunch and a landing by the Police helicopter where some of the kids got to have a close look at the chopper and ask questions.
The Kelly Sports team from Creo Fitness Pukekohe helped run a day of sports, the SPCA also turned up and a couple of vehicles from Pukekohe Honda and a race midget were climber over by the kids.
The highlight of the very sunny day was a slip n’ slide.
