Jason and Alofa of Lone Star Pukekohe with a staff of volunteers and sponsors turned out for the annual Christmas charity lunch held at the Lone Star restaurant as well as many young families attending.
Budgeting & Family Support Services, operating with offices in Mangere, Otara and Tuakau, was the organisation which partnered with Lone Star to provide the lunches in both Pukekohe and Newmarket restaurants.
The lunch included roast beef, ham, chicken, pudding, kumara, roasted potato, chips, cauliflower and broccoli in cheese sauce and more.
Santa arrived in a local firetruck and was greeted by children on arrival. He sat on the sofa and was approached by kids that were given a gift.
To finish the day off on a high, Dessert was served after Santa’s visit
